Our showers or bathrooms may be used only if a guest has an emergency. Ensuring that every resident has a working bathroom, shower and kitchen in their RV is a condition to staying at Halfmoon Bay RV Resort.
Our electrical services range as follows: 30 amps, 50 amps, 100 amps and 200 amps. In case your RV is equipped with the 30amp plug, you may need an adaptor if you occupy a 50 amp RV Pad. Such adaptors can be acquired at Canadian Tire in Sechelt, or we may have them in stock.
Our water mains are 2", or 1.5" for sub-mains. The lines that reach the RV Pad underground are 3/4" with a 1/2" hose-bib connection that you can connect your water line to.
The sewer mains are either 6" or 4". The connections at all RV pads are 4".
Fireworks are not permitted within the resort for safety reasons and to maintain a peaceful environment for all guests.
While the Halfmoon Bay area is home to diverse wildlife, encounters at our resort are rare. Nonetheless, we encourage our guests to be mindful of their surroundings and keep their sites clean to not attract wildlife. In addition, keeping the trash enclosures closed is a key to keep the bears and raccoons from entertaining at the trash enclosures.
Fishing in the ocean and surrounding lakes is subject to customary provincial or municipal regulations. However, fishing at our lake / pond is not permitted.

Trash disposal is one of the services we offer. We aim to make your stay as convenient as possible. The trash enclosure is located on the right hand side of the entry to the Resort. All residents are requested to close the lid to the garbage bin to alleviate having animals get into the trash.
We provide Canada Post services for our residents. You can conveniently receive mail and packages directly to your RV Pad. All residents receive their mail by having it addressed to their name, the name of the site they reside at and the following information: Halfmoon Bay RV Resort - 9423 Stephens Way - Halfmoon Bay, BC V7Z 1G9. The mail gets delivered to a general main box administered by the Site Supervisor. The Site Supervisor re-delivers the mail to each resident at their respective RV Pad. By the front entrance, you can send your mail after putting a stamp on your envelope and depositing it into the "Outgoing Mail" slot of Canada Post.

Halfmoon Bay RV Resort is located within a very densely treed area of British Columbia. This makes for a beautiful natural setting which also provides various benefits like cleaner air and a sense of tranquility. However, in recent years, with the regular forest fires, adherence to fire restrictions is crucial. We abide by the guidelines put out by the Sunshine Coast Regional District as the same pertains to fire safety and fire restrictions. Propane appliances may be exempt. Check the guidelines for your specific appliance.
